• Greet people in Chinese

• Introduce yourself in Chinese (name, age, birthday, nationality)

• Introduce family members

• Exchange information on general topics (food, fruit, drinks, sports)

• Read, write and type basic Chinese characters

• Have a basic understanding of Chinese character system

• Use a Chinese dictionary to look up Chinese characters and their meanings

• Sing a Chinese song
